She holds a Master’s degree in Energy Management from the New York Institute of Technology and has extensive experience in strategic leadership, corporate program governance, and multidisciplinary integration between subsurface, lift, and flow operations. Her work focuses on overcoming operational challenges and developing innovative solutions, contributing to increased recovery factor, management of production decline, and advances in efficiency and sustainability in offshore production.

Paulo Johann is a Senior Consultant at Petrobras’ CENPES. He has over 40 years of technical and managerial experience in the oil industry. He holds a degree in Geology from UNISINOS, RS, and a master’s and doctorate in Reservoir Geophysics from the Sorbonne University, France. At Petrobras, he worked in 1981 at DENOR, in Belém, PA. From 1982 to 1984 in Manaus, at the Exploration District (DENOC), at REMAN. From 1985 to 2020 in E&P, where he pioneered the creation of the Reservoir Geophysics Management in 2007, and since 2021 at CENPES, RJ.

Superintendent of Development and Production at ANP
Mariana Cavadinha holds a degree in Petroleum Engineering from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, UFRJ (2010) with an exchange program at the University of Virginia, United States (2009). Between 2010 and 2015, she worked as a petroleum engineer in the private sector. A permanent employee in the position of Regulation Specialist at the National Agency of Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels (ANP) since 2015, she works in the Superintendency of Development and Production (SDP). She held the position of Deputy Superintendent of Development and Production (2018-2022) and, since 2022, has served as Superintendent of Development and Production at ANP. Between January and July 2026, she served as interim Director IV of ANP.

Marcia Khalil is a chemist with a technological background, a master’s degree in physical chemistry, and a doctorate in metallurgical and materials engineering from UFRJ (Federal University of Rio de Janeiro). With over 20 years of experience at Petrobras’ Research, Development and Innovation Center, she coordinates innovative projects in the discipline of Flow Assurance, in addition to leading technical assistance for business areas and partnerships with universities. She is the creator of a digital solution for monitoring flow assurance events, co-author of the book “Fundamentals of Flow Assurance,” holds Petrobras patents, and is the author of several scientific articles.

Rodrigo Ferro is a senior reservoir geophysicist at PRIO with 14 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. Throughout his career, he has worked on seismic processing and reprocessing projects, and on the geophysical characterization of post-salt and pre-salt reservoirs for the development and revitalization of offshore assets in Brazilian basins.
He holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in geophysics from the Federal Fluminense University (UFF), with a specialization in seismostratigraphic interpretation from the State University of Rio de Janeiro (UERJ).

Elisa Formentin holds a degree in mechanical engineering from the Federal University of Santa Catarina and an MBA in project management. Currently, she holds the position of Sector Manager of Reservoir Management, Lifting and Flow at the Tupi Complex.

Elida Gurgel Pinto is an industrial engineer specializing in oil and gas, with a master’s degree in Materials Engineering and an Executive MBA from COPPEAD/UFRJ. With over 15 years of experience in the oil and gas sector, she has built her career with international experience and a solid track record in production engineering, completions, and management of onshore and offshore operations.
Currently, she is responsible for production management at PRIO, leading multidisciplinary teams in the areas of process, chemicals, fiscal measurement, and production engineering, working across all of the company’s assets. Throughout her career, she has also held strategic positions in people management and performance, in addition to contributing to production optimization projects, well interventions, drilling campaigns, and field development.

Guilherme Sargenti is the General Manager of Petrobras’ Macaé unit. With over 15 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, he leads operations that generate R$ 32 billion in annual revenue and manages a workforce of over 2,300 employees and 10,000 indirect workers.
He holds a master’s degree in Thermal Energy from Cranfield University, UK, and has completed executive education programs at Harvard Business School, the University of Michigan, and Copenhagen Business School.
Sargenti has solid experience in equipment reliability, energy efficiency, and operational excellence, contributing to significant advancements in Petrobras’ refining and production strategies. He has also played a key role in cross-functional initiatives focused on developing new capabilities and solving complex challenges across various business and corporate areas.
In addition to his professional responsibilities, Guilherme works as a dedicated educator, teaching in graduate programs at COPPE/UFRJ for over a decade.

Alessandro Silva Moreira is the Project Manager, Construction and Assembly for the Campos Basin at Petrobras, with over 19 years of experience in offshore assets, including more than 14 years in leadership positions focused on integrity, maintenance, operation, and life extension in highly critical environments.
His career includes direct experience in mature field assets, with experience in fixed units, FPSOs, and FSOs, as well as participation in decommissioning projects and initiatives of great relevance to the sector, such as his work on the Marlim Asset, recognized for its complexity and scale in revitalization projects.
With a postgraduate degree in Project Management and Agile Methods and continuous training in innovation, Alessandro advocates for the evolution of management methods as a real lever for performance: processes exist to enhance human cognitive capacity—not to replace it. Throughout my career at TotalEnergies, I have taken on various roles such as Senior Reservoir Geophysicist on the VENUS project in Namibia. I have also led numerous 4D and 3D seismic studies, feasibility studies, and seismic acquisition projects from HQ in Pau, France, and Luanda, Angola. Prithipal began his journey in the petroleum industry in 2002, joining Shell as a graduate Petroleum Engineer. There he played a crucial role in the production growth of the Gumusut-Kakap and Malikai fields, the largest producing deepwater assets in Malaysia. This period under his guidance saw the asset being honored twice with Shell’s prestigious Upstream Asset of the Year award, alongside receiving several Operational Excellence accolades from Petronas.
In his present role, Prithipal oversees the BC-10 and Bijupira-Salema assets and manages the partnership in the Mero development. His academic credentials include an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Nebraska and an Executive MBA dual degree from Tsinghua University in China and INSEAD in France.
