His passion for geology drives him to bridge the “gap” between geophysics and geological interpretation, always seeking a deeper understanding of the Earth’s complexity.
Caio has eight years of experience in the industry, with the majority of this time dedicated to seismic data inversion and interpretation. His professional journey has taken him across different geophysical landscapes, from Houston, TX, to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, where he has worked on advanced imaging projects. Throughout his career, he has focused on extracting valuable geological insights from seismic data. Beyond the academic and professional world, Caio finds inspiration in nature, exploring trails and capturing landscapes through photography. Music and reading are his loyal companions, whether in a new scientific challenge or an outdoor adventure.

Currently, I hold the position of Senior Geoscientist Integrator (Geophysics) for TotalEnergies Brazilian operated and OBO assets, a role I started in February 2025. Throughout my career at TotalEnergies, I have taken on various roles such as Senior Reservoir Geophysicist on the VENUS project in Namibia. I have also led numerous 4D and 3D seismic studies, feasibility studies, and seismic acquisition projects from HQ in Pau, France, and Luanda, Angola. I play tennis and love traveling and meeting new people.

Flavio is an experienced executive with more than two decades of work on different segments. He started his career with Petrobras in 2007 and soon joined the Engineering division, where his management career began. As a versatile industrial engineer, Flavio acted in a variety of departments, leading different teams in areas such as Logistics, Knowledge Management, Operation and Maintenance, Project Management, Governance and lately as Subsea Systems Executive Manager. As an entrepreneur, Flavio holds diverse business administration skills which allowed him to also play key roles in representing Petrobras’ associated companies and to act as Petrobras’ presidential advisor, reaching the whole business chain and stablishing good relationship with partners and market. Flavio´s academic career comprises of a Post Graduation in Production Engineer at Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), followed by a Master´s Degree and a MBP in the renowned COPPE Institute. Teacher, tutor and author, Flavio is always working for a better and more efficient industry future.

Prithipal began his journey in the petroleum industry in 2002, joining Shell as a graduate Petroleum Engineer. Over the years, he has embraced various roles, including Subsurface Management, Joint-Venture Governance, and leadership in the Safety & Environment function. His role prior to this was as General Manager, Sabah Asset. There he played a crucial role in the production growth of the Gumusut-Kakap and Malikai fields, the largest producing deepwater assets in Malaysia. This period under his guidance saw the asset being honored twice with Shell’s prestigious Upstream Asset of the Year award, alongside receiving several Operational Excellence accolades from Petronas.
In his present role, Prithipal oversees the BC-10 and Bijupira-Salema assets and manages the partnership in the Mero development. His academic credentials include an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Nebraska and an Executive MBA dual degree from Tsinghua University in China and INSEAD in France.
